Troubleshooting - Electric/Mains Operated Sharpeners

Problem: Does not sharpen

There are a number of simple reasons why your sharpener may not be sharpening the pencil to a sharp point. The most common cause of the sharpener not sharpening or ‘chewing' the pencil is a blunt blade. As with all pencil sharpeners, dulling of the blade result from normal usage and are not covered within the warranty. If you have used your sharpener regularly then you will most likely require a replacement blade.

Replacement blades are available for the following sharpeners. Just contact your supplier or fill in our replacement parts form quoting the codes below:

Please note that replacement blades are not available for the Swordfish Dual Power, Purple Battery or Purple Home Pencil Point Options Pencil Sharpeners.
