Troubleshooting - Laminators

Problem: Jamming

Jamming usually only occurs when the laminator is used incorrectly. The most common causes of jamming include:

• Pouches being inserted open end first

• Pouches being inserted at an angle

• Incorrect temperature/micron settings

• Multiple cut-outs inside the pouch

• Documents being too small or large for the pouch

• The back support tray being closed

If a pouch is jammed inside the laminator then it may be possible to remove it with a few simple steps.
